All College Day: Building Community
When you stop to think about it, “building” is the right verb to describe how a community is created, whether you’re talking about a physical community – a neighborhood, for example – or a conceptual community, such as a group of people committed to a common cause. “Building” suggests purposeful construction and hard work, planning and collaboration. All College Day, which took place on February 21, is both the result of a long-range “building” project, and a toolbox for further construction. more...
