Behind the scenes
Every summer, a group of Powerhouse Theater apprentices discover just how tough a mistress theater can be. This summer, nearly 50 aspiring actors, directors, and playwrights will travel from as far as Paris and Singapore to participate in workshops and classes, and to work behind the scenes on sets, costumes, lighting, and sound for the Powerhouse’s mainstage productions. more...

When actress Lynn Redgrave was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002, she asked for her daughter, Annabel Clark, to photograph her. Through the lens of her camera, Clark watched her mother recover from a full mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation.
